PSL Strikes Double Deal

PSL Energy Services Ltd have been awarded process call off contracts with two major operators, Exxon Mobil and Total.

PSL will carry out purging and leak testing, pigging and pipefreezing services for Exxon Mobil’s Beryl Field and southern North Sea assets over the next three years.

The one year contract, which includes an option to extend for an additional 12 months, could be worth up to US $2.7million, it also includes a clause to potentially engage PSL to perfoem the same services to Exxon Mobil’s Jotun, Balder and Ringhorne Norwegian sea fields.

PSL will also be called on to carry out work for Total including bolt torquing and pressure system leak testing at the St Fergus terminal and on the Elgin, Franklin, Dunbar, Alwyn and MCP01 North Sea platforms.

PSL Operations Manager for the UK said: “This is an indication of the growing reputation of PSL that we have won these two major call-off contracts in the face of stiff competition.”
