PSL Energy Services AS appoint Norwegian process

PSL Energy Services AS has appointed Stian Urke to head up their recently launched process division in Norway.
Mr Urke will take responsibility for all process operations in Norway, working closely with the companies such as Aker Kvaerner, Fabricom, Vetco Aibel, Statoil and Hydro.
He has a wide range of process service experience, including bolt tensioning, nitrogen pumping and flange management and joins from IKM where he was project manager on Statoil’s Snøhvit LNG development.
PSL’s process services include flange management and bolting, leak testing, precommissioning services, camera inspection, chemical cleaning, nitrogen purging and oil flushing.
PSL Energy Services AS general manager, Ole Grimsmo, said: "Stian’s professional approach and industry wide contacts will be a great benefit to PSL.
“This is a strategically important appointment for our company and by utilising his process expertise and management experience we are confident PSL will become a key player in the Norwegian process market.”
Mr Urke added: “This is an excellent opportunity to develop PSL’s process services division and build it in to a major provider for innovative solutions to the oil and gas industry in Norway.”
