PSL Energy Services Ltd has appointed Ian Ong as Business Development Manager for Thailand, Vietnam and Burma.

Based in Bangkok, Ian will be responsible for developing the company’s main service lines, including well services, process, pipeline and excavation and hydraulic work-overs.

His appointment, after 24 years spent with Halliburton, further strengthens PSL’s successful Singapore based Asia Pacific division.

Ian has a wealth of experience in coil tubing operations, stimulation and testing, fracturing and cementing

PSL’s managing director for Asia Pacific region, Kenny Coutts, said: “Ian’s depth of experience across a range of disciplines and his extensive contacts throughout the region offers great benefits to PSL.

“His appointment reflects the importance we place on providing our key services to clients in Thailand, Vietnam and Burma and will add to our continuing success in Asia.”
