Applications
 The PSL patented Subsea Pigging Unit or SPU is the proven technology used to flood newly laid pipelines in water depths from 5 to 5000 metres.
The SPU filters, chemically doses, controls the flow and monitors the flooding/pigging operations without the need for an attendant Vessel. This can radically improve the flexibility of project vessels usage during pre-commissioning activities.
The self contained unit can be left for extended periods subsea while other project activities are being completed.

Benefits
 The SPU unit has been used in deepwater projects down to 1550 metres subsea and in shallow water flooding while laying jobs, in depths of only 5 metres.
The SPU can be adapted to suit the project requirements.
